Effective immediately, patients who normally receive Joey pump sets (food bags) will be receiving E pump sets as a substitute. This is due to an ongoing backorder on the Joey sets, expected to last at least 6 more weeks. They will be automatically substituted by our shipping dept. Effected Joey pump set part #’s are - KE762055 and KE763656.

To avoid confusion when they come back in stock, shipments will have a written substituted part # in the delivery comment box. But will reflect the above, original part number to keep order history accurate for customers. 

There is not a difference in function between the 2 types of sets, however the tubing is longer on an E pump set. The only potential issue that could arise is if the patient/caregiver uses the E pump set in a backpack; the tubing may become kinked in the bag. Also, the height of the IV pole may need to be adjusted (if applicable) to maintain flow in the E pump set tubing.
